This place is a good fit if you enjoy being out in the countryside.

My mother and I stayed at this guesthouse a few years back. We still remember the lovely evening we had, thanks to a host who was both welcoming and easy to accommodate.

I called to ask whether there was any availability, and the owner asked if I was using a Wonderbox gift set. When I said yes, she snapped, “Why didn’t you tell me, Madam?” I was confused by that. Then she spitefully said she had nothing free in September or October, adding, “I only have weddings for the next two months, you have to come during the week.” I explained that we work during the week. Unbelievable. She talked to me like I was a dog, and I’m nicer to my dog than that. The whole phone call was bizarre, and I ended the conversation. I’ve rarely seen weddings in October, but anyway. From the comments I’ve seen everywhere, I’m certain I wasn’t the problem. If Wonderbox is an issue for her, she should end the partnership. Maybe she should change careers altogether, because she’s seriously lacking in politeness, kindness, and friendliness.

The owner made breakfast especially enjoyable, talking passionately about the history of her region. We spent one night here, and the room and bathroom were adequate and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
