They seemed determined to charge for everything. I paid a city visiting tax and a dogs tax, and they insisted I buy another room for my 4 years old child. That was 100 euros for an empty room because we hadn’t mentioned her when booking. In the end, they sold us an extra bad that we didn’t use for about 50 euros. So grateful, since apparently we couldn’t have slept with a small child in our bed. Maybe we should’ve bought the other room and moved her there. They got us bunk beds, so our daughter wanted the top bunk and my wife slept with her to stop her falling. My wife slept terribly because she was afraid of falling herself. I’m glad they cared about our comfort and not the money! Recommend avoiding.

We had to cancel right there because we kept driving to BCN. We saw the room first, and it seemed decent if all you need is a bed. It wasn’t a great experience. If you book through booking dot com, don’t expect the hotel to waive the cancellation fee. Booking there was our mistake, and we won’t make it again. We paid around 70 euros for a double room. The place was friendly and clean, and breakfast starts at 6. There’s also free parking, plus a great restaurant just a 3-minute walk away.

We’ve stayed here before and were happy to return. The staff are friendly, and both we and our dogs enjoy staying at Brit Narbonne. The cook does a great job, and the restaurant serves excellent food. We’ll be back.

You’ll need a car to get around and visit places. Traffic near the hotel can get pretty heavy during peak work hours. It’s a budget hotel with friendly staff. The nearby road is noisy if you’re sitting out on the terrace, but inside the noise is blocked well.
