The stairs are small and tricky, so do take their warnings seriously. The rails, lighting, and their condition made them acceptable and secure. We chose the top floor for a better "view", but were level with the tree canopies. One floor lower might give you a better view and bigger windows. At Maison Gustave, our room was spacious and clean, the bed was superb and comfortable, and the snacks and petit breakfast provided were wonderful. The stay was about as close to perfect as anyone could expect. You won’t regret staying at Maison Gustave.

The location worked well, and the room felt cozy while still being clean and well equipped. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. Nothing to complain about!

Getting in means checking in by phone, since there’s no desk. The place also wasn’t completely hygienic, and some of the lamps didn’t work properly. It’s not a good fit if you have trouble with stairs.

The rooms have tasteful decor, and getting there was easy thanks to the detailed arrival and parking information. The location is right in the city centre.

We had both rooms, which are on separate floors, and were told beforehand about the narrow stairs and having to carry our bags up. The guesthouse is lovely, with a nice view and a good location.
