The restoration of this beautiful place deserves a bravo. I first saw the hotel on a well-known France 2 show about twenty years ago, and wow, quite a story!

The owner seems to be at it around the clock, putting together a generous breakfast with a different surprise each morning. We stayed for a few nights and loved the gorgeous pool and the fantastic surroundings.

There was pretty much nobody there when we arrived, so the place felt almost nonexistent. Luckily, we got our booking money refunded.

The hotel turned out to be a nice surprise after we picked it more or less at random for a few family days. We felt comfortable right from arrival, thanks to the really warm welcome. It's quiet there, a good place to unwind after sightseeing. The region is superb, and the location works well for visiting Villefranche-de-Rouergue, Figeac, and the surrounding villages.

We really enjoyed the pool and its countryside view. The room was comfortable too, and the hotel is tucked away enough to make for a quiet, relaxing stay surrounded by nature. A great spot for a peaceful break near Figeac.
