The breakfasts at Château de Nazelles were our favorite meals of the trip, really delicious and made locally or in-house. Véronique was generous with our family and so kind and accommodating that we won't forget it. She has a thoughtful, brilliant way of making you feel at home, and the Château itself is stunning. You might not want to leave, though there's plenty around to visit and places to eat. This is the best vacation spot we've ever been to. We can't wait to return for the setting, hospitality, breakfasts and memories.

The chateau is quiet and away from crowds, which was a big plus for us. Amboise is about a 10-minute drive, and Chenonceaux and the town of Blois are among the other great places nearby. Our room overlooked the Loire Valley and had a fantastic shower. The large bathroom also had the toilet in a separate room, which made mornings easier. Breakfast was incredible, with fresh baked goods from the local boulangerie and excellent local cheeses. Sarah was lovely and very helpful each morning. She even made bread or breakfast cake with chia seeds and orange zest. Vraiment déliceux. Definitely book here for a relaxing stay.

The gardens are beautifully kept and very relaxing, and the rooms are clean and lovely. We felt genuinely welcome thanks to Véronique and her team, who were kind and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, too. Château de Nazelle is ideally located near Amboise and the Châteaux de la Loire. Highly recommend it.

Lovely people, delightful rooms and delicious breakfasts, all in a place full of history and so very beautiful. It's also a great base for exploring the riches of the Loire Valley and Touraine. We'll be back.
