A forest path starts right outside, and after the walk we could sit on the terrace with coffee and those spectacular views. Diederik made us feel at home as soon as we arrived while we were looking for our new home in France. Our room was beautiful, breakfast was lovely each morning, and there was a freshly made picnic ready for our daytime travels. We came back each evening to a beautiful four-course meal, then spent the night under the stars or cozy by the fire. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Just perfect.

We loved walking the beautiful French countryside with our dog, and there are plenty of hiking options nearby. The house is so comfortable, with a breathtaking, almost meditative view over the woods and hills. The hosts are warm and attentive. Food in the nearby villages is inexpensive, simple, and delicious, and the hosts also offer a really tasty haute cuisine menu. A wonderful retreat. We'll definitely come back!

Our room was fantastic, and breakfast was wonderful. Sasha and Gerard were so helpful throughout our stay at Puy Maury. Sadly, we only had one night, so didn't get to explore the area properly, but we hope to return.

I was traveling for business and found this lovely place to unwind and be close to nature. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the owners are incredibly kind. The homemade food is really good. I truly recommend it!

The guest room and ensuite were really inviting, and we enjoyed spending time with the owners, Derek and Charlotte. Puy Maury is a lovely spot, with great food and good service. We had an amazing stay and are definitely planning to return soon.
