Moulin de Bapaumes

We were unfamiliar with the area and came for a wedding at the nearby Chateaux de Lisse. Since there isn't a huge amount to do beyond checking out a few small towns, we were glad we added a few days to unwind here. The setting is tucked away, so you'll mostly need a car. Nerac is close enough, though we didn't walk there. Once you're in, there's a lush garden right by the water, and the place is clean, nicely decorated and new while still keeping some period charm. The hosts make you feel at home, cook an amazing breakfast, and give helpful tips on things to see nearby. It felt like staying with family we actually get along with, and who make great food. We loved Bingo the dog too. Just what you hope for from a B&B!
