The Iberico pork was grilled well, but the sauce had little flavor, the fries were dark, and the whole dish was far too salty. It came with no vegetables, just one sad bit of parsley. We both had upset stomachs for the rest of the evening, too, which made the meal feel especially disappointing for the price. We'd booked because the restaurant looked appealing online. When we arrived, we were told the kitchen wouldn't open for another hour, later than our reservation, and sent straight to the Brasserie. That's when we found out the restaurant wasn't even open that day. The brasserie menu was pretty average.

The room was huge, with a very spacious bathroom, and the hot tub worked, though it wasn't very clean. It could use an update and a proper deep clean. The air conditioning was effective but noisy. A bathroom bulb was out, and the light-up picture frames didn't light up. Drinks were a bit pricey. The bed had built-in lights and switches for the room lighting. Housekeeping was quick and really friendly. They even made a smiley face with my wife's nursing pillow, which was a nice touch. The hotel has a restaurant serving fancier traditional-style French food, plus a bar with tasty, reasonably priced food and a smaller menu with something for nearly everyone. All in all, not a bad stay.

The food was so good, and the presentation was outstanding. We had the mushroom ravioli and burrata to start, then the boeuf and poisson 'retour de peche'. That was plenty for us since we're not big eaters, though if you have a bigger appetite, I'd try more of the menu. See the menu photo. If you're in Neufchateau, give this hidden gem a visit ❤️😁. The staff were really friendly. We got by with a little French and Google translate.

A good overnight stop while travelling through France. The hotel is very nice and set away from the rue de Peage. Rooms are comfortable with a good shower, and breakfast was excellent.
