We only stayed one night, so we didn’t mind that the apartment looked old and run down. The bed had clean cream-colored sheets, and the bathroom was okay, though the shower-head handle was broken in room 1. The internet didn’t work with the password pin on the wifi, but we just used our own data and didn’t ask about it. The host was friendly, took our bags, and explained how to get into the hotel. We arrived at 10am for check-in, but the room wasn’t ready for another hour. The hotel was close to our transport to mont saint michel (ouibus), and Roland Garros was about 20 minutes away by bus.

I booked four months ahead, but at check-in I was told Expedia had made a mistake and I could stay at a nearby hotel instead. It was a small, really old 2-star place, offered in place of a new 30m^2 Appartement. Luckily, I didn’t check in and contacted the booking agency. They found me a 4-star hotel and even covered an additional 167€ in costs.

The location is good, about a 10-minute walk to the metro, and the landlord was friendly. The room was okay, but it needs more maintenance, especially the bathroom.

The only good thing was the residence’s location. The apartment’s condition was a huge disappointment: the bathroom was unsanitary and the sink unclean, with holes in the walls and a stained sofa. The kitchen and dishes didn’t make you want to cook. The TV was unusable, the electrical outlets were loose, and the light switches were very dirty.

The apartments need maintenance, but they’re cozy and have the essentials for visiting Paris. The area is excellent, with easy access to the metro.
