Camping Le Plein Air Neuvicois

The grounds were clean and well kept, and the owner was very kind.

We ended up rewashing everything, from the walls and baseboards to the bed frames and bedding. The mobile home was dirty and the furniture damaged, and we had bedbugs, apparently related to a flood a few months earlier. We told the owners. They offered a blanket, which we refused, and some product to put on the windows. The pharmacy confirmed the bedbugs. After our holiday, the owners reimbursed us €17 against the pharmacy receipt, but that didn’t change what we’d gone through. We stayed for two weeks, and frankly, I wouldn’t recommend this campsite.

Such a lovely place to spend time. The grounds are beautiful, clean, and well cared for. The staff are warm, cheerful, and really pleasant. I’ve got nothing but good things to say and highly recommend it.

The setting at Camping Le Plein Air Neuvicois is green and peaceful, and the location works well for relaxing or exploring nearby. The atmosphere was pleasant, which made the state of our mobile home all the more disappointing. There was mold in the shower, a stained ceiling, and cushions that were yellowed and marked. Some dishes weren’t clean, and the toaster was grimy, as our photos show. Dust and dirt had collected under the sofa bed and the other beds, where we even found shoes left by earlier guests. It all gave a neglected impression. With more attention to cleaning and upkeep, the accommodation could match the lovely surroundings. Comfort and cleanliness matter for enjoying a stay, and improving those details could make this somewhere we’d recommend without hesitation.
