Hotel - Restaurant Isidore Nice Ouest

My wife and I stayed for two nights. The hotel was really nice, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It's a little away from the city centre, but very close to a tram stop, with a big supermarket nearby. Breakfast was great. The rooms, though, were very small and had few facilities.

The staff were a real highlight, always friendly and helpful, and both the rooms and common areas were kept impressively clean. The dining area is also a pretty, inviting place for breakfast. The downsides were the location, about 10 kilometres from the main train station, which can be inconvenient if you're using public transport, and the small room, which may feel cramped. The old air conditioning was noisy and didn't cool the room properly. On the plus side, there was a microwave in the room and free hot drinks. The hotel has some charming touches and thoughtful amenities, but the location and some room features could be better.

The staff were very helpful, and that makes a real difference. I had dinner here, and the food was good quality for an honest price. The kind staff also offered tea and coffee. Breakfast was a pretty good buffet with both sweet and savory options. The room was a bit small but clean, with a tiny bathroom, shower, and soap provided. For a budget hotel, this is a good option, and it's pet friendly. The location works well for motorway travel, very close to the exit, and there's a small car park. I didn't visit the city, and I don't think it's a good base for a town trip. There is a large shopping centre nearby, though, plus several bars and restaurants. A good hotel for a short stop on the road.

The room had a few imperfect details, and renovations are underway, but it's still a good hotel for an overnight stay. For stable WiFi, head to the lobby, where the WiFi is free. Staff were nice, parking was free, and breakfast at the nice restaurant Gigi was delicious.
