B&B HOTEL Nîmes Ville Active

Just one night, and easily the worst B&B I’ve stayed at. Breakfast was a joke, and there was no information in English or English-speaking reception staff. The main entrance door was broken, so anyone could get in, yet there were signs everywhere telling guests to watch their belongings. Can’t recommend it at all.

We paid Agoda in full for two nights at B&B Nimes, but when we arrived in the evening of 30Apr2025, reception said the Agoda payment only guaranteed the booking and demanded full payment again at the prevailing B&B rate. We were facing a larger bill a second time. When we tried to explain, the receptionist wouldn’t accept it, perhaps because she didn’t understand English well, and showed her impatience by twisting her mouth. We couldn’t reach Agoda for help at that hour and were exhausted, so we paid B&B Nimes again to check in. The reception service was really bad at that point. A week later we also had two nights booked and paid in full through Agoda at B&B Paris. They accepted the booking and payment, and the reception service was top notch, completely unlike our experience at B&B Nîmes. I don’t know why the two B&B locations were so different. Update: I’ve just sent the booking reference number to the email address provided for verification.

The location wasn’t great. There was no welcome staff for check-in, no hairdryer, and the sink was coming loose. The area felt unsafe, even though there’s a door meant to close the parking lot off from the street.

We spent one night here with our baby, and fortunately the bad reviews didn’t match our experience. The room was very clean, and everything else was good quality, as you’d expect from these hotels.
