We had dinner here on our first night in Nîmes and it was a good start. The service staff were cheerful, helpful, and attentive. We both ordered Moules frites, which were delicious, and shared an amazing bottle of local white wine that went perfectly with dinner.
We really enjoyed our meal. The waiter, Julienne, was friendly and quick, and kept an eye on us without fuss. Both the stew and plat du jour were incredible, and the view was gorgeous.
The spot opposite the arena is beautiful, and the service was quick and friendly. I enjoyed the mussels, though about a third hadn't opened and seemed a little undercooked. The steak was trickier: we were offered rare, medium, or well done, but medium came out closer to well and rare closer to blue, so there didn't seem to be a medium option. I'd order something else next time, but I'd still recommend it 🇨🇦
That view right across from the Arena of Nîmes makes dinner feel special. We stopped in after a show, and the staff were kind and helpful. The food was good too. I especially liked the burger, which was simply flavored but cooked just right, with a delicious brioche bun.
Julien took great care of us, and the food was lovely. The portions are generous. Get the Sangria!!!
