The room was comfortable, with an excellent bed, amazing pillows, and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was simply the best I’ve ever had, including toilet paper of a quality I’d never experienced! Yves served a generous breakfast with fresh fruit and suggested several dinner spots. The calm, elegant residence is filled with lovely objects and artworks. Its walled garden has a gazebo, a small pool, and lots of roses. It’s within walking distance of the train and all the cultural sites. We’ll be back!

The welcome was warm and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Behind a huge wall, this old house feels like a little gem, with soaring ceilings, authentic decor, and poetic architecture. The garden is a lovely place to relax or sunbathe, with a pool for cooling off. The first year, jasmine surrounded it so beautifully that the pool was barely visible. It’s a shame regulations meant the jasmine had to go in favor of a barrier.
