Majestic Hotel

The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was spotless. It’s hard to beat the value for money in Nimês, and the location works really well for a stay in town.

What stood out was how keen the staff were to help us explore the city. They gave detailed restaurant suggestions for different budgets and dietary needs, and the manager was especially welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were lovely, and breakfast was delicious on the covered terrace. It’s also an easy walk to both the station, about five minutes away, and the centre, under ten. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The staff were easy to talk to, helpful, and spoke English. My room and bathroom were both spacious and had everything I needed. The hotel is ideally placed between the station and the city centre. A really cool spot, recommended.

The welcome was warm, and the location is handy, about five minutes from the station and centre. We were travelling with two seniors, and the staff moved us to different rooms since there’s no elevator. I booked because it was the best value at the time, but I don’t think I’d return because I think there are better-priced hotels. The rooms are basic and cover the essentials. Ours looked onto a wall and air-conditioning units. There was hardly anywhere to put things: our three-person room had four hangers and no closet, and the bathroom had no storage either. Breakfast at €14 was mediocre, with food running out more than once. The scrambled eggs didn’t taste homemade, and the sausages and bacon were poor quality. In the south of France, I expected better food. A good traditional French cheese, better bread, an organic jam, and more fruit would already improve it a lot.
