I was excited when I first saw the hotel, but it turned out to be disappointing. The bathroom wasn't clean, my towels were stained, and the toilet had what looked like a skid mark. The tub shower seemed to have been cleaned lazily. Everything except the side without the glass pane was pink, black, and yellow. The lobby could use more kinds of seating. Since I was travelling with a group, they sat us outside the restaurant for breakfast and gave us three pastries, basic coffee, and a few spreads. When our group leader asked why we couldn't eat in the restaurant like everyone else, the staff were quite avoidant and rude.
10/10
The staff were friendly and helpful at every level. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the large atrium, which is also used as the restaurant. The hotel is splendidly located, a short walk from the railway station and the old center with the Roman Amphitheater and museums. My room was comfortable and clean, though it needed some repairs. I had dinner at the restaurant, but the main course wasn't very good. Maybe I didn't understand the idea behind the dish, or perhaps the cook was having a bad day.

The hotel is right in the center, with a short, beautiful walk to the bus and train station. The main attractions are nearby, including the magnificent colosseum, which really is magnificent. Our room was a good size, so we didn't feel cramped, and the separate toilet and shower were a great idea. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. There was also a big TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini fridge. For a short break like ours, you won't be disappointed. Without a doubt, one of the best hotels I've stayed in for a while.

Rudolphe made us feel at home and looked after us so kindly. He has a great smile, a wonderful personality, and was so helpful. He's perfect for this industry and can teach a lot of people how to make guests feel welcome and pampered. I'll never forget his kindness.

The restaurant and bar were outstanding, the rooms were brand new, and the location was perfect. Everything was top-notch, with excellent service. I highly recommend this amazing hotel!
