We found it easy to reach, not far from the motorways, with nearby places to eat that weren’t expensive. There’s no dinner service at the hotel, but the breakfast had a good range and was great. Our room was on the small side, though cosy, and the place was comfortable in every other way. The guys running it were fantastic with us and our dog Rue. One of them even took time in the evening to help my wife with her French. We stopped here while travelling through France on our way back from Spain, and hope to come again soon.

The air conditioning worked really well, and everything was very clean. Since the office is shut before 4 pm, check-in starts then. While we waited, the staff suggested some good things to do, including a boat trip at the Marais Poitevin, about a 15-minute drive away.

The views are breathtaking, and the ferry port is very close. Everything was perfectly clean, the staff were lovely and helpful, and the service was 100%. Thank you.
