We stopped here on our way south and found it a real gem. The staff were all super friendly, and the outdoor space and pool are gorgeous. It really does feel like an oasis. Our family room had loads of space, and the kids loved sleeping on the mezzanine. Breakfast was delicious too, with homemade yoghurt, apple cake, fresh fruit, and cooked eggs and bacon.

It’s a cute little hotel, a bit out of the way in a nice way. The staff were great and the rooms were very clean. We didn’t use the facilities, though the pool looked nice.

The Originals hotel chain delivers what it promises: the hotel was very clean, breakfast had a good range, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It was a shame the pool, bar, and restaurant weren’t open when we visited. We had to go into town the first evening, but because it was Sunday, not much was open at 6:30 p.m., when we needed to eat before our theatre booking. Opening the bar and restaurant earlier in the season might bring in more visitors.

The owner or manager was downright rude and indifferent. The place was small and tacky, and at €100 a night there wasn’t even an evening meal. There was no milk in the room, so we couldn’t have tea. After seeing the honest review I’d left the night before, the manager apparently took offense and refused to serve us breakfast, ordering us to leave at once. Incredible.

The pool area was great, and our room was nice. The hotel was very friendly and close to both the highway and airport, yet it wasn’t noisy at all. You can order dinner with Uber Eats, but you’re only allowed to eat it in your room.
