The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor, and the people working here were warm and attentive. It’s a lovely property that seems to be very well run. We felt right at home and would happily recommend it.

The rooms and the whole setting became one of the best parts of our two-week holiday. We’d changed our plans and stumbled on this hotel and restaurant, and the people we met were amazingly friendly. It felt like stepping into a medieval world, with so much tradition and character. A memorable place to stay or have a meal in a really quaint village.

Handy for the motorway, this is a country house turned into a characterful, comfortable hotel with a restaurant. We slept really well in the comfortable beds, and the breakfast was excellent. The restaurant serves good country cooking with local produce.

Just off the A6, and breakfast was a treat: freshly baked bread, local cheese, yoghurt, jams, and hazelnut spread. Everything was delicious.

The restaurant and auberge looked lovely, which made the lunch a real letdown. We waited 55 min for the food, and no one came to serve us at first. The main dish had no taste, and the service didn’t seem to care much about us. For such an expensive meal, we were very disappointed.
