Huttopia Noirmoutier

We were right on the beach, and the clean, well-run campsite made a perfect base for exploring the island. We hired bikes from the site, and the ride into the beautiful town was easy. We'd certainly come back.

We enjoyed the site, even with mixed weather. It's in a wooded area with beach access, and there's a short bike ride to a nice town with shops and restaurants.

There's easy access to the beach and good cycling from this fabulous site, which has good facilities, though they can be stretched in high season. It's a massive campsite, but it doesn't feel like one because it stretches along the beach in two directions from reception. Finding it from town wasn't easy because the signs aren't good, and there isn't much room to park while checking in. Cars near the barriers can make towing in or out very tight, especially when large vehicles are parked close by.

This was our fourth time at the campsite, and we still love the amazing location. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are nearby and clean. Our shower building could use an update, though, and the water only runs for about 5 seconds at a time, which gets annoying when showering or washing dishes.
