The garden and surrounding nature were full of flowers, such a calming setting. Inside, every room had its own color theme, and the old castle still had modern comforts like a bath, bathroom, and air-conditioning. We loved the royal feel of the rooms. Meals in the restaurant, from breakfast to lunch and dinner, were delicious and beautifully presented, with spotless service. The reception and restaurant staff were professional, friendly, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. There are downstairs rooms for relaxing or workshops, plus a pool and sauna. It felt like a fairytale come true.

I felt at home in this beautifully decorated chateau, and I can see why one guest I spoke with on the first night returns every year. Of the four chateaux we stayed in on this trip, Chateau Belmont, Chateau Tortiniere, La Borde en Sologne, and Chateau de Noizay, this was by far my favorite. The suites were well appointed, and the bar and piano room had cozy, comfortable seating. Breakfast came in a lovely room with white tablecloths and a great selection of cheeses, croissants, meats, coffee, juices, and fruit. The staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. It’s a unique place, run by special people.

We especially loved the quiet, beautiful setting, just 15 minutes from Amboise. The staff were all so friendly, and the massages were outstanding. Breakfast was amazing too. We loved our stay at the Chateau and would highly recommend it.

We had dinner at the restaurant after wine tasting nearby, which was very convenient since we didn’t have to drive afterward. Staying in a castle was a lovely experience, with five-star service and amenities. The ladies at reception were especially welcoming and kind.
