Finn Hus Omaha Beach

A wonderful stay in a perfect location, and a lovely holiday with our dog 🥰. The house is a little dated, but full of history. The owners are very nice and reachable if any questions or problems come up. It isn’t cheap, but I can only recommend it for a holiday with a dog or family. We had a perfect stay 🥰.

The sea views are exceptional, and the place is truly fantastic, with D-Day landing documents, binoculars, and souvenir photos. The accommodation is very clean and well-equipped, and the owner is available and involved. Everything inside and outside is set up for a comfortable stay. When we arrived in January, it was already heated, the refrigerator was ready to use, and there were plenty of thoughtful basics like cleaning products, toilet paper, and towels, giving us time to settle in. The setting is raw and unadorned, and the serenity of the place invites reflection on the past. Within 15km, there’s so much to learn, understand, and experience about the D-Day landings. The moments are magical and deeply moving. An absolute must-do. Don’t hesitate!

We met the owners, a very friendly family, and honestly, all the ingredients for a great stay are here. It’s a very comfortable house where the peace and quiet make for a guaranteed rest. The main room is especially pleasant and bright, thanks to the large bay windows. Eating with that magnificent sea view was the best part. Don’t hesitate.
