We only ate at the restaurant. The fish and chips were among the best I've had, with fresh fish and a light, crisp batter cooked just right. They came with lots of tartare sauce and some very nice vegetables. The service was polite and friendly.

I'm reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel. The atmosphere was great, but I had trouble with the milky oysters. If they weren't right to serve because the oysters were reproducing and breaking down, I wish they had told me; I wouldn't have ordered them. They graciously removed them from the bill, and I chose a chef's choice steak instead. The waitress kept misunderstanding how I wanted it cooked, so I looked it up and showed her the French word. I kept saying "Medium-Rate," while she said "saignant," which is rare, not medium rare. The steak came out undercooked. That alone wouldn't have been a problem, but it also had quite a bit of tough cartilage. I didn't eat most of it and was fine with them taking it away. Service was a bit sketchy: there were three waiters and waitresses, and at times it seemed they'd forgotten my wine order. When I reminded them, they said, "oh, it's coming..."

We rode our bikes over and really enjoyed the food, the location, and the atmosphere.

The food and atmosphere were fantastic, and the staff were lovely. It was genuinely the best place we ate during our stay in Normandy. My daughter did try to choke to death on a piece of bacon, though. Highly recommended!
