The site is in a fantastic area, the accommodation was clean and the staff were excellent. The trouble, as I’ve found at a lot of Homair sites, is there are too many pitches for the space and facilities. The units are packed close together, leaving little room to park. The family beside us scratched our car. The pools are too small as well, and there aren’t enough sunbeds or any parasols or shade around them. On several days we struggled to find even one sunbed. It’s a great location with great staff, but the crowding and undersized facilities let it down.

Lovely, friendly staff, and brilliant cycle paths start right at the site, taking you to Pegasus Bridge and the British landing beaches. It’s a fantastic location close to the ferry port, good for a one-night stop or a longer stay. This place is very underrated.

We got lucky with the weather, 35° for four days, and the local area was very nice. Traffic was moderate and the atmosphere was laid back. Staff were friendly enough, and I’d recommend the place. The accommodation is basically like a UK caravan. It could be better for the money, but it is what it is.

The caravan was really nice and clean, with good facilities and air conditioning. The site has decent facilities and a good pool. My 11 year old enjoyed the slides enough to spend a few hours at a time on them. It’s also conveniently close to the ferry port and the main roads to Bayeux.

Stopped by the cafe/bar for a pizza and beer. The beer was cold and the pizza fresh. I’d come back if I were staying in Ouistreham.
