The room was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and the breakfast was generous, with homemade things served in a lovely room. Those cakes the little girl baked were especially delicious. We stayed two nights with colleagues for a wedding, and the hosts were so kind and welcoming. Such a peaceful, idyllic spot. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The homemade yogurt at breakfast was a favorite, and there was plenty of it, all delicious. We spent the weekend at this lovely gîte in Notre Dame de Livaye and were really happy with it. It worked just as well for our family, including our 3-year-old, as it would for a romantic getaway. There’s a farm with rabbits, goats, and other animals, and the owner kindly gave us some bread so our little one could feed them. We recommend it!

The woman running the bed and breakfast has a warm, grandmotherly way about her, and her cooking is adorable. Breakfast was delicious too.
