The room cost €130, which felt overpriced for one without a toilet. The bed was large and comfortable, but a small glass panel in the door meant someone could peek in while you slept. There was algae on the steps, making them slippery, and the shared toilet facilities lacked maintenance. Four villas shared one toilet and one shower, and there was no hand soap. The jacuzzi was being maintained, and the toilet room had a strong, unpleasant smell. The dining room is in a separate villa. It looks cozy in photos, but it's very small, and there was no basin for washing hands there either. There is a microwave and fridge in the dining room. Breakfast was cold: baguette slices, croissants, ham, salmon, filter coffee, warm milk, and yogurt. We arrived at night to total darkness, with no signs or lights, and thought we'd ended up on private farmland. We had to use a phone light to see the road. Solar or LED lamps at the villas would help if soft lighting is the concern. You can see stars at night, and there are a pond and some animals nearby. The host was friendly but spoke only French. There was no restaurant nearby, so bring your own food. It may suit people from the area, but otherwise it's a long drive.

Six years after our last visit, everything was just as we remembered. The hosts were lovely, the bedding comfortable, and breakfast delicious. It's a magical little corner of paradise, far from the world, and everything was perfect.

Our host Laurence served breakfast in the khota grill, with both sweet and savory choices 😉. She and Jean Michel are lovely and really look after their guests. The little place is peaceful and green, with a pond out front where ducks splash around. A warm Khota ☺️

The beds were so comfortable, and the kotas are lovely, simple but nicely decorated. The setting is gorgeous and made for a relaxing weekend, with welcoming, pleasant people. Breakfast was a very sociable affair, with a huge choice of really good products. I came away with nothing but good things to say about my stay, and I'll definitely return.
