The property has a lot of character and is wonderfully peaceful, with a large enclosed, wooded garden, a swimming pool, and a big, well-equipped kitchen. It's only a few kilometers from Beauval Zoo. The hosts welcomed us warmly and looked after us very well throughout. The one small downside was the large mattresses in the bedrooms. The bedding really needs improving. We had a lovely family stay. See you soon!

We especially enjoyed all the outdoor activities, from the well-maintained swimming pool to pétanque, ping-pong, and badminton. There was something for young and old, and the sunny terrace was a great place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. We spent 10 days at the
cloe 4.

The accommodation was very nice, and we were looked after well from the moment we arrived. The welcome was warm. We had a pleasant stay, though the bedding was comfortable, the pillows were very soft.

Le Refuge was a perfect place to relax after a busy day at Beauval Zoo, just a 10-minute drive away. The setting is green and pleasant, and the cottage is spacious and spotless. I've rarely stayed anywhere so well equipped, with appliances, games, outdoor gear, and thoughtful details everywhere. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to return! 😉

The enclosed grounds are huge, quiet, and great for children, with ping-pong, badminton, boules courts, and a pretty pool sheltered from both wind and view. The welcome was lovely, and the setting is peaceful. My daughter and I had a really good time here, though the studio could use a place to put a suitcase. I recommend it.
