That big, friendly six-year-old Swiss Shepherd won me over. The continental breakfast was really good too, and the room was high quality. The place sits on the edge of the village, so it was properly quiet, which I really appreciated. The hosts made me feel welcome, and their English was excellent. It's an old property, with a waterwheel visible through a glass section in the floor. I'd happily recommend it if you're after a taste of France away from the cities and tourist spots.

A comfortable place to stop on a cycling, motorbike, or hiking trip, with nature all around and a traditional, distinctive feel. The French and English speaking hosts were friendly. There are a couple of shops and a cafe about a five minute drive away.

The breakfast and rooms were both perfect, and the house itself felt special. We loved the warm welcome and the spot at the very end of the road, where you can head straight out for a hike. We were so pleased with our stay that we meant to book again for the return trip, but left it too late and it was already taken.

It's so peaceful there, with nature all around. I loved the room's style, and the bedding was perfect. Everything had recently been renovated in January 2020. Claire and Norsk, the Swiss Shepherd, welcomed us warmly, and communication was excellent. We had a very pleasant stay at Claire's place in Les Aubes du Vexin. I highly recommend it!

The walks nearby are wonderful, and each path seems to tell a story. It's a magnificent house that feels inspiring for artists and writers. We found the rooms beautiful, the hosts lovely, and the bedding especially comfortable, which mattered a lot with our back problems. A perfect setting to switch off.
