The gite has a lot going for it: lovely owners, a pretty setting, and real potential to be a fantastic place to stay. But function could use more attention than the design. There's nowhere to store or hang clothes, and the bathroom window faces the garden without a curtain or blind. Luckily we're not shy, though there were lots of other guests outside. It was a beautiful, warm evening, and we missed having a small terrace or seating spot outdoors. The gite itself is pretty, and the surroundings are beautiful.

The owners really know how to make a stay pleasant and memorable, and the rooms were in mint condition with superb beds. The hotel is beautifully set in peaceful countryside, a place that feels close to paradise and good for the soul. Next time I'll stay longer and bring proper shoes so I can enjoy the walks nearby.

After three days, we really didn't want to leave. The food was extremely tasty, and the clean, nicely decorated facilities made us feel at home. The yard, forests, and surrounding nature were so peaceful. Both owners made our group feel welcome from check-in through check-out. Les Jardins du Nideck is a fabulous place.

The sauna, hot tub, and kota are all well worth trying. The gites are roomy, warm, comfortable, and very well equipped, and the staff are super friendly. It was a magnificent, welcoming taste of Finnish culture tucked into the Vosges.

We stayed in Gite Myrtille, which was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and clearly know their business. We also tried Bain Nordick outdoors, which was a lovely experience. It's a nice place to spend time in nature, with the river nearby and good trails in the area. Recommended for nature lovers and hikers. Just keep in mind that extras cost money, including towels.
