A quiet, rustic cottage full of charm, with everything we needed. It sits in a lovely garden by a stream, surrounded by flower-filled fields and cattle. The host was very kind and speaks fluent English and German. It's a handy base for coastal trips and walks, with Etretat about 1.2 hours away.

There's plenty of space, with four bedrooms: two have large double beds, and two have several single beds. The mattresses are good, everything was clean and fresh, and there are two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped, too. Behind the house, the sunny terrace is sheltered. The garden is idyllic and wonderfully peaceful, with birds singing all around. The house has a charming, typically Norman rustic style, and everything works perfectly. We loved the fireplace, and there was plenty of free, dry wood for cozy evenings and keeping warm. Electric heaters are in every room as well. The very friendly landlady speaks fluent German and has lots of useful tips for outings, sightseeing, and shopping. She lives next door and is always available if you need her, such a personable host. Parking is right outside. A real gem!

This is a lovely, typically Norman house, peaceful and surrounded by nature. The owner is friendly and helpful, and does everything he can to make his guests happy.
