We were there for a nearby wedding and got around with family rides and taxis since we didn't have a car. It’s a wonderfully quiet, private little place in the French countryside, and the hosts were warm without hovering. Just be aware that it’s quite secluded, so having a rental car would help. As far as I know, there aren’t any restaurants, bakeries, or grocery shops within walking distance. The hosts were also very understanding when a taxi mix-up woke them around midnight.

Antonella and Jean-Loup welcomed me and the other cyclists so warmly that we arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. They gave us a proper chance to recharge and refuel before we set off on the next stage of the Avenue Vert. I’d happily recommend a visit.

Antonella was very accommodating, and the room was clean, spacious, and great. We enjoyed breakfast in the main house at this lovely country guest house near Giverny. Our car GPS struggled with the address, though Google Maps found it more easily. A bigger sign outside would help.

It’s a peaceful, lovely village with beautiful scenery, and the B&B was clean, well equipped, and had wifi. Our hosts were fabulous and tremendously helpful. Getting to the village and travelling around without a car can be harder than in some places, though local taxis are available. Thanks for the warm welcome.
