We only booked at the last minute while heading back to the UK from the coast, but Mas Dansavan turned out to be an easy place to find in a lovely rural setting. Anne-Marie welcomed us warmly and showed us to a lovely room, decorated in Provencal style, with a good-sized bathroom. After a quick swim in the outdoor pool, which we had to ourselves, we went to dinner at a restaurant in Menerbes that Anne-Marie and Michel had recommended. The pool was beautifully peaceful. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and plentiful, and Michel and Anne-Marie were always nearby with more jam or local suggestions. They were warm, efficient, friendly hosts. We also took a quick walk among the surrounding lavender fields before setting off. We can thoroughly recommend Mas Dansavan for a peaceful, relaxing stay in “real” Provence!

Mas Dansavan sits quietly in nature, away from the city bustle, making it a lovely spot to relax and enjoy Provence. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Michel and Anne-Marie were warm and welcoming, and ready to help whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was generous and delicious each morning. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The pools, scenery, location, and breakfast were all great. The room was the one letdown: it could have been cleaner, with spider webs behind the bed, along the ceiling, and in the bathroom. The shower also had functional issues and didn’t work properly.

We got a very friendly welcome and lots of help during our stay. The Mas is beautiful, with clean rooms and a lovely garden, and breakfast was fresh and nice. It’s right in the middle of the Lubéron, but still wonderfully quiet.

We had a great four-night stay as two adults, two kids, a cat, and an EV. The well-kept property and rooms are clean and surrounded by lavender fields. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade yoghurts and jams, viennoiseries, brioche, and more. Nearby Luberon towns like Gordes and L’Isle sur la Sorgue are easy to visit. If you’re hoping to see the lavender in bloom, I’d suggest coming before the end of July.
