Hotel Saint Jean

We enjoyed breakfast in the pretty courtyard and loved being within an easy walk of all the Roman historical sites. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The room was on the small side, but for two star accommodation it had what I needed: air conditioning, a TV, a clean space, and a comfortable bed.

Our room was tidy and clean, and breakfast was lovely. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the location is perfectly close to the center. A real hidden gem in Orange. I'll definitely come back.

I spent one night here to rest while travelling from Italy to Spain, but next time I'll keep going all the way to Spain for sleep. It's cheaper there, with better food and service. The room looked beautiful in the pictures, but it wasn't really to our taste. We could barely get around the bed, even though I think they have larger, more expensive rooms. For what I paid, this one felt too small, and it smelled like a toilet when we arrived. Reception was only open for a few hours in the morning and a few in the evening, not all day or all night. Provence is beautiful, with its colours, flowers, and cheese, but I found it a bit overrated and overpriced.

We had a quiet, romantic room overlooking the courtyard, and the location couldn't have been better. The staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast out in the courtyard was great, with fresh, warm croissants, and the value for money is hard to beat. We highly recommend Hotel Saint Jean. Thanks for a lovely stay!
