David is always on hand to make sure you're comfortable, and he's lovely company. His evening meal is excellent, and breakfast is very good. This is an authentic, family-run guesthouse with a great deal of charm. A few things to know: it's not wheelchair accessible, and some bedrooms are upstairs via rather steep stairs. There can be a faint smell from the nearby barnyard, which some people might mind. You get used to it quickly. That's in the main room, not the bedrooms, and it goes away completely once the guesthouse is opened up and aired out. I think it adds to the charm. For skiers, there was a lot of snow at the resort even on April 8th. If you're unsure about conditions, ask David.

Everything we wanted for my birthday was there at David's gîte: a quiet mountain setting, a place without pretensions, a good meal served at the table, maybe some animals, and that feeling of being at home. We left feeling completely recharged. Thank you, and see you soon! Emy, Seb, and Marcel 🐕

The gîte has a really unusual feel and a great mountain atmosphere. We were welcomed so warmly, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. I highly recommend it. We'll be back.
