Le Clos de la Palmeraie

Those homemade meals and breakfast were delicious, especially the elderflower cocktail, jams, and multigrain bread. We spent a weekend recharging in this peaceful, charming place, and Gerard and Christine made us feel so welcome. I’m grateful for their kindness and all the thoughtful little touches. Such a lovely experience!

That homemade breakfast was divine, and Gérard’s cooking at dinner with the hosts was a real treat. We’ve now been to Clos de la Palmeraie four times, and this romantic weekend with my friend was just as lovely as ever. The view over the Médoc vineyards and the beautiful setting made it feel like stepping into another world. Christine and Gérard welcomed us so warmly, and we felt right at home. Every room is beautiful, clean, cozy, comfortable, and fitted to its theme. We especially love the spa, with its sauna, jacuzzi, and relaxation area, a peaceful place to unwind. Christine’s massages are exquisite too. We’ll be back as soon as we can. We’ve found our little paradise. Thanks, Christine and Gérard, and see you soon!

We left feeling exactly what Gérard had said we would, that you take something with you from a B&B. The stay was fantastic, and we were delighted as we got back into the car the next day. The Chinese room was beautiful and spotless, with a professional feel, and we felt very comfortable there. Christine and Gérard are friendly, attentive, available, and easygoing. The estate is peaceful and gave us a much-needed chance to disconnect, even though we enjoy our usual day-to-day life. The spa and sauna area is superb and worth a visit, and Christine’s massage was perfect. We loved it. Dinner and breakfast were both top-notch, with Gérard showing what a great cook he is. See you soon!

The Moroccan room made us feel as though we’d been transported to Morocco. We had a wonderful stay, and everything was perfect: the welcome, massage, and meals. Thanks to Gérard and Christine for such a lovely time. We highly recommend the place and hope to come back.
