Marcial is a really nice person. The place is clean, has lots of facilities, and is a great place to stay.

The hosts are remarkably kind, attentive, caring and discreet. Near the village of Eygalières and close to Saint Rémy, it's a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the natural setting is exceptional. Admirably located, it's a great choice.

We had a wonderful five-night holiday at this lovely hotel. Everything feels high quality, from the rooms to the beautiful pool, and it's very quiet with just 4-5 rooms. The location is handy for getting around by car, and nearby towns have countless restaurants within 10-15 minutes. Still, the hotel sits right beside industrial spots, including a firewood business, a car repair shop and a salt mine, so it's not an ideal setting. Breakfast was delicious and always fresh, but that's the only meal offered, as there's no restaurant. The service was okay, though the one staff member we regularly saw spoke French but not English. We had a kitchenette, but no dishes, cutlery or pots, and weren't allowed to take plates and cutlery back to the room to eat a pizza we'd picked up. You can buy cold drinks and wine at the bar, then note them down and pay at checkout. There's also a supermarket just a three-minute drive away.

The place has potential, and our room, called “Wood,” was charmingly decorated with a comfortable bed. But a number of things spoiled our two-night stay at this farmhouse. We were told on arrival that our towels wouldn't be changed for just two days, which didn't feel reassuring given the price. The gate remote didn't work either, so I had to contact the owner to get it fixed. The breakfast buffet was kept under a glass dome, but the food didn't seem fresh enough. The worst part was having no hot water on either night. When I reported it, the owner said our neighbours had probably used it all. For the second night, the suggested fix was a shower in an outbuilding, which isn't what I'd expect for a weekend costing €230 a night. No compensation was offered, which was really disappointing. The service just doesn't match the price.
