We came to Ornans for Gustave Courbet, and the town didn’t disappoint. La Table de Gustave made a great place to eat and stay, and the Brocante weekend fete was a bonus, with the centre closed to traffic.

The spa area was wonderfully relaxing, and our room was very comfortable. Dinner was excellent, with original dishes and warm, friendly service. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. We had an excellent overnight stay and will definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

We stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable in our room. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and dinner came with very friendly service. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit so comfortable.

There’s public parking very close by, and the hotel is comfortable in an interesting little town. Dinner was satisfactory, though the menu could use a bit more imagination: the mushroom starter was also served as the sauce with two main courses. We skipped the buffet breakfast, but the coffee was good.

We got in pretty late, but the staff were VERY friendly and helpful and arranged a nice, light dinner for us. The rooms are cosy and really warm. It’s lovely to sleep with the window open and hear the nearby river as a bit of pink noise.
