My two dogs enjoyed the stay too, since pets are welcome. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a great bed and a hot, strong handheld shower. We stopped here while travelling from Spain to the Czech Republic, and the location worked perfectly. The staff even went out of their way to fit my car and trailer in. Really good service and great value.

We found this a good stop for the night on our way from Norway to Italy. The place is basic, but clean and friendly. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the man at reception was very kind and spoke English well.

Breakfast was great, and the room was clean, with a nice bathroom and a really good shower. We made a quick stop here during our road trip and found it great value. The staff were friendly and spoke both French and English.

The surroundings are pretty grim, mostly industry despite being a small village. For a quick dinner after your journey, try a small restaurant in Neuenenburg am Rhein. We only stayed one night, and the simple hall and rooms were fine for that. The hotel and service were fine too. The beds were good, and the family room had enough space. The bunk bed was wide enough for two small kids to sleep on top. We skipped breakfast because €9,50 per person felt a bit pricey for two kids who barely eat in the morning, though what we saw looked fine.

It's surprisingly quiet, set back from the traffic, even though the ALS is only a couple of minutes from the main Motorway Junction at Neuenburg. The rooms are sparsely furnished, and the rates are low. Cleanliness is excellent, and the buffet breakfast is good quality. A spartan but clean Transit Hotel, and a solid four stars for its class.
