The peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, made it easy to switch off. Our gypsy caravan in Burgundy was cozy and fully equipped, with plenty of charm and comfort. Benjamin was such a warm, attentive host too. A lovely, refreshing weekend, and one I’d happily recommend.

The location has a lovely feel, with room for little kids to move around and a small but nice pool. But before we arrived, we couldn’t get any response from the owner at all, and we were already worried we’d been scammed. Our roulotte also wasn’t properly equipped, and some things were broken: one burner didn’t work, there was no little oven even though the other units had one, the door wouldn’t lock, and one bench at the picnic table couldn’t be used. They’re working on fixing up the units, so hopefully things will be a bit better in the future.

The caravans are roomy and well equipped, and the setting is perfect for relaxing among nature. We got a lovely welcome from the new owners at the Relais de Maufront, and our short stop there turned out to be a really nice surprise. We chose the gypsy caravans for a unique three-day, two-night stay I’d won. It was peaceful, pretty, and cozy, just right for unwinding. Breakfast was brought to our caravan, dinner was served outside, and the pool was heated really well. We had a fantastic stay.

The kids were delighted by the pool, games, horses, and the unusual Finnish grill. We were three families of friends, six adults and six children, stopping on our way to Guédelon for a wonderful weekend. The caravans were comfortable, and a big thanks to the owners for their hospitality.
