The guesthouse itself is charming, roomy, and in a beautiful spot, and the hosts are friendly. The food was the letdown. At dinner, despite the host saying they use local ingredients and work with local farmers, we were served mostly rice with low quality meat. I expected more vegetables, potatoes, bread, and meat from nearby farmers and bakeries, but that clearly wasn't what we got. Breakfast was just as disappointing: very hard bread, plus jam and honey in supermarket plastic packets. No eggs, fresh yogurt, or fruit, and nothing felt like handmade local food.

We had a lovely time here. The hosts were so kind, the rooms had loads of space, and the swimming pool was great. I'd definitely recommend it.

The meal was really good, and breakfast the next morning was generous. Alexandra and Yannick made us feel at home, always smiling, and that evening's welcome drink by the wood-burning stove was a lovely way to settle in and get to know them. We stayed for two days and would happily come back. I highly recommend it.

We liked the friendly welcome and the place was very pleasant. The mattress was comfortable, though the rooms themselves are basic. Bigger tables and luggage racks would have been useful. The welcome text message included directions to the hotel's parking lot. Avoid the café!

The pool and relaxation area were fantastic, and we loved trying the local food, especially the delicious veal axoa. Four couples from one family spent a week together here and had a wonderful stay. Yannick and Alexandra are generous, friendly hosts who clearly love their beautiful region. The region itself is magnificent. All the best to you both and your little one!
