The menu changes with the seasons, and the selection is excellent. We’ve been here a few times and found something different each visit. The food was great and service quick. In summer, the terrace is lovely; inside, it’s modern and not too noisy, a very nice place to sit. I honestly don’t understand the complaints about value for money.

We arrived a bit late, but they let us in. After a long wait, our mussels came out very cold. When I asked why, the staff just said they’d warm them up. I thought mussels had to be boiled to cook and open. We were hungry, so we ate them anyway, and really wished we hadn’t. What a night and day experience. The staff were very rude.

The port view and attentive waitresses made for a lovely lunch at Le Terre-Neuvas. I started with six fresh oysters (huitres), served just right over ice with lemon and mignonette. For my main, I had eggs poached in a delicious cream sauce, one of the best dishes I've had during my months-long stay in Paimpol. I almost forgot to mention the cafe gourmand for dessert. I'll definitely be back.

A really nice meal by the port of Paimpol. The razor clams were delicious, and the mussels were fresh and tasty. The waiters were friendly and helpful too.

I ordered four cafe crèmes, but got four small espressos with just a tiny splash of milk. They charged 3.5 euros each, and when I queried it, I was told that's what a cafe crème is.
