The location is great, with plenty of people to watch, and there was lots of local knowledge to draw on. The staff were polite and professional throughout. From the hostess to the cleaning staff, everyone was wonderful.

The hotel has plenty of charm, and our room was spacious in a perfect location. For a harbour view, I'd suggest asking for a room facing the water. Service lost a star for me because I had to ask for toilet paper, and the bar service was limited.

For all five nights of our stay, we couldn't sleep. From midnight until 5 am, a group of drunk people were howling and screaming like crazy. It sounded like hungry animals, and from my room I felt terrified, as if I were lost deep in a forest surrounded by a herd. I'm shocked that people and the authorities let this happen every day. It was horrifying.

Everything was fine apart from this insect. We all know it's very dangerous.

We didn't stay at the hotel. We were trying to find somewhere for lunch, but everywhere else was full. This place had room on the outdoor terrace and offered a meat and cheese platter. The hotel staff brought it out quickly, and it was a generous spread of quality produce.
