This was our second year back! It’s an easy Uber ride from downtown Montpellier. We call ahead to book two “transats” for a day on a holiday weekend, and an umbrella comes with them. On weekdays, it looks like you can just turn up and ask for one. There’s a restaurant and bar on site, and the staff are really nice to English speakers too, though speaking some French helps. I’d bring towels since the chairs aren’t cushioned, but they actually work better than cushions for dealing with sand. We’ll be back!

The views are fantastic and the atmosphere is great, but dinner is a problem if you’re vegetarian. There’s only one option, a cheese plate, and even that’s questionable. Nothing for vegans at all, and the service was fairly slow too.
