Cabanes Sainte Camelle

I had a lovely time here with my two grandchildren. The place feels magical, and we got such a warm welcome that it makes you want to return and explore the Fairy Trail. Thanks so much, Isabelle. I'm sure we'll be back. Pascale

Set right in the woods, this charming place is a dream for unwinding. Our treehouse was beautifully furnished. If you're someone who loves nature, you have to stay here.

The setting was ideal for relaxing and the welcome was warm, but the stay had some unpleasant surprises. We paid €10 per person for breakfast, which wasn't included in the booking price, and the bread was moldy. The cabin seemed inviting at first, but it had ants and other insects, and we got lots of bites during our two nights. After we left, the tray wasn't collected and was left in the sun by our door. That didn't seem professional or hygienic.

The cabin was a wonderful place to spend the night for my 18th birthday. Out in the woods, it had a shower, composting toilet and kitchen, and gave me space to reconnect with myself and enjoy the small moments. Jeanine welcomed me warmly, made me feel at home, and helped with transportation. The simple breakfast was organic. It felt like a utopian place where peace, love and kindness are everywhere. I spent time talking and exploring with people who were always smiling and sharing, and had some deep conversations. Even with the mosquitoes and flies, the beautiful Fairy Trail hike was full of wonders, and you get used to the bugs. I also enjoyed the café, which was about to open, and got to play guitar and djembe. There were comfortable armchairs and a little library, so I could meditate and read. There are chances to do an internship, WWOOF at certain times, and attend some events. Just one night, but it was magical. I'll be back!
