ibis Styles Paris Porte de Pantin Philharmonie

For the price, this hotel is hard to beat in Paris, and the staff were very helpful. It's a new place with reasonably sized rooms and nice bathrooms, though some things still seem to be missing, like a mini fridge or in-room safe. Breakfast was decent, but the team was slow to clear tables and refill empty dishes. The nearest metro is about five minutes away, and some popular music venues are around a ten-minute walk.

The location is handy for getting around: Hoche metro is about a five-minute walk, Pantin RER is a little over ten minutes away, and tram 3b is just two minutes off. I liked the modern decor, which makes sense for a relatively new Ibis Styles. The room and bed were comfortable, and the shower was good. I had a burger at the restaurant and enjoyed both it and the service. Check-in was quick since I'd registered ahead. Breakfast was fine and more than enough, though a few more hot options would improve it. I'd come back.

Breakfast had a generous, tasty spread with plenty of choice, and the rooms felt cozy, quiet, and artistically decorated. Even with the windows open to air things out, the neighborhood stayed peaceful. The hotel entrance is controlled and monitored, which added to the sense of safety. Air conditioning was a real help after being out in 30-degree heat for 14 hours, and made it easier to sleep and recover. The staff were great, always approachable and willing to answer our many questions. The location is convenient, close to Porte de pantin bus station and a metro station.

The service was excellent, and breakfast was good. The hotel is well placed near the metro, a park, and lots of restaurants. My room was a little small, but that's normal for Paris and it worked fine for me. No complaints, a perfectly good stay.
