Paradou was lovely too, with everything we needed for a good breakfast or a BBQ. The location was great: 10 min by car to Les-Baux, 25 min to St.-Remy, 30 min to Arles, and 45 min to Avignon. The place was clean, the beds were very good, and our hosts were accommodating. They also gave us useful day trip tips and good places to eat. We had a wonderful stay at Mas de la Scierie in September 2016, enjoyed it very much, and highly recommend it. We’ll be back.
The Borrely family made us feel at home right from the start and were always helpful. We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in Paradou and loved the area, with so much to see and do. Our children, aged 9 and 7, spent every free minute in the fantastic pool. The Mazet 1 and 2 apartments were cozy, tastefully decorated, and very clean. Thank you for a wonderful time!
The owners were very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. We were two families with three children, aged 3 years, 9 months, and 7 months. The accommodation was spotless, high quality, and lovingly furnished, with a child-friendly pool, a Weber grill, and a fully equipped kitchen. It was picturesque and simply wonderful, whether relaxing there or visiting one of the very worthwhile nearby places.
A beautiful place with tasteful decor, high-end amenities, and a great base for exploring the region. We were delighted with our stay at Mas de la Scierie. The owners were very friendly and attentive to guests’ well-being, and gave us a warm welcome that included an aperitif. We wholeheartedly recommend this peaceful haven!
The guest information booklet was well written and helpful, and the neighborhood was quiet and ideally placed in the heart of the Alpilles, 15km from Arles. The decor used natural colors and materials, respecting the cottage’s history. The friendly Borrely family gave us a very warm welcome.
