We could walk everywhere from this perfectly located hotel. The family room worked really well for two adults and two kids, and the staff were fantastic, welcoming, and went out of their way to help. The restaurant looked lovely, though we didn't get the chance to eat there. We had a great stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

Breakfast the next morning was perfect, and the atmosphere helped make up for the room trouble. I was in room 244 in summer, for 3 people at 106 EURO. Although the windows were large, the room was badly ventilated and felt suffocating. When I tried leaving them open, mosquitoes bit me. Staff were very helpful and cordial; they spoke and understood English, though not Spanish, which fortunately wasn't a problem for me. Breakfast cost 12 EURO per person. The wifi also kept disconnecting: the password only worked for one hour before I had to log in again.

After dealing with the filthy, awful local competition, finding the finesse and richness of this restaurant was such a relief. This is THE address in Paray-Le-monial, a delightful gem that's hard to beat. The nearby place calling itself a “grand hotel” has better reviews, which is baffling given its anti-Asian and homophobic behavior. Avoid that so-called “grand hotel,” especially if you're not white.

The servers were great, and the food was excellent. It's a beautiful, charming place right in the town center, and they were very accommodating.
