The food was amazing, comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant. Chef Megan puts together beautiful, delicious dishes with delicate flavor combinations. The menu changes monthly, and ingredients are locally sourced where possible. There’s a good choice of wines and beers, and the prices are very reasonable for this quality.

We loved the beautiful rooms and stunning common areas, and breakfast was delicious. The stone walls and exposed beams were kept in the renovation, alongside modern comforts, including an induction stove. There’s plenty of bike storage with a few basic maintenance tools, and the gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful. A lovely hotel just off the EV6.

We had a great time in this gem of an old manor house. Our room was spacious, and they also provide great service for bikers and their cycles.

Buses make it easy to get around Paray, and the rents are set aside for people with modest incomes, which makes sense. This residence is for independent seniors and offers different kinds of support. Two pleasant, thoughtfully designed apartments are available for people with reduced mobility who don't need a nursing home. The small downside is the long, steep hill up to VERNEUIL 1 and 2, though there is a bus. I wish there were many more places built on this same idea. 😊
