52 Clichy

Of my five stays in Paris, this one was the most magical. We spent ten days there at the beginning of May 2025, and Rosemary's B&B made the trip fantastic. Our bedroom, bathroom, and toilet were private to us. The accommodation under the roof was very clean, practical, and comfortable, and we slept very well. Rosemary prepared breakfast with care each day: fresh fruit, yoghurt, different jams, tasty spreads like nougat, and wonderfully fresh, crisp croissants. As someone who loves good food, I really appreciated those croissants. Rosemary herself is a big part of what makes the place special. She's helpful, communicative, friendly, and easy to like. For example, if you need help booking a museum ticket, just ask her. She'll give you the best help she can. The place is in a quiet, well-kept part of Paris, and we felt very comfortable there. Three Metro lines are only a few minutes' walk away: M2 Place de Clichy, M4 Trinité – d'Estienne d'Orves, and M11 Liège. Five stars, with an extra crown for Rosemary's warmth. We'd love to come back!

We've stayed with Rosemary twice and would happily return. Years ago we stayed at her B&B for two, and just last month we were in her apartment for four. Rosemary is a wonderful host and a great source of advice about Paris and planning a visit. The apartment is clean, pleasant, and has plenty of room, unlike the cramped places you can find elsewhere in Paris. It's secluded and very quiet, and you notice the difference as soon as you come in from the street. The bed is comfortable, too. Breakfast is another highlight. Rosemary brings over wonderful things from the boulangerie just down the block, along with jams, juices, coffee, and milk. There are several Metro stops a couple of blocks away, so it's easy to get around the city. Good places to eat are also within walking distance.

Rosemary gave us plenty of useful information as soon as we booked our accommodation, including when and how to book Paris's many attractions. We were also able to drop our luggage off early. Each day started with a nicely prepared breakfast and helpful tips for the day's plans. We enjoyed our stay.

The location made Paris easy to explore, with Metro stations and restaurants nearby. It felt like a neighborhood where I could live, and tourist sights were easy to reach when I wanted to go. I stayed with Rosemary in her beautiful flat in February 2025 for my 40th birthday. It was my first time in the city, and she was a wonderful host. Her lovely breakfast spread and our conversations each morning were just the start of the care she showed throughout my week-long stay. I can't recommend 52 Clichy and Rosemary enough, and I hope to visit again.
