We’re a mature Irish couple and had a lovely stay. Our executive room faced the street and was excellent, with good facilities, toiletries, tea and coffee, and a huge bathroom. I’d pick a street-facing room, as the courtyard view didn’t look great. The staff were very friendly, and housekeeping left the room sparkling every day. The hotel is well located near the Metro, restaurants, and coffee shops. WiFi worked well, and we liked the tea and coffee available to guests in the lobby. Breakfast had plenty of continental options and was lovely overall. The hot food was cold every morning, which was disappointing, especially since we came down at 9:30 and expected it to still be hot. There were enough other choices that we didn’t go hungry. I’d recommend the hotel.

I’d never stay here. I booked before reading the reviews and paid to cancel after seeing them. By chance, I also spoke with a guest who was there during a theft at the hotel. Check the previous reviews before making the same mistake I did. The reviews describe thefts from rooms, questionable security, risky practices, and management threatening guests. Since the hotel replied, I want to add that I didn’t stay, but cancelled after reading the reviews and speaking to that guest. Hotel manager, read the reviews yourself before saying there are no thefts and threatening to report this one. Maybe that’s the threatening behavior previous guests mentioned. And if you care enough to reply and deny the issues, why not contact the affected guests and talk to them instead of blanking them permanently?

Great hotel near the Metro. After a night out I looked homeless, and the staff didn’t bat an eyelid. 10/10.

Our room overlooked a courtyard between buildings, which kept traffic noise out very well. Everything seemed pretty clean. I just wished there’d been a way to hang the shower head while showering. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s a bus stop and Metro station conveniently close by.
